A Christmas Appeal

Teen Challenge SA relies heavily on donations within the church and the community. Please consider supporting us today for our summer 2021–22 appeal. All donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. Donate here.

What is the best gift you can give to someone for Christmas? Is it toys, vouchers, money, munchies, clothes, jewellery or socks and jocks? (Have you started your shopping yet??)

I think the best gift you can give to someone is to give them their life back!

At Teen Challenge SA, we see many people who have literally had their life taken from them through drugs, alcohol and substance abuse. Some of them ended up in prison. Some have even tried to end their lives because they lost hope.

We receive testimonies from people, year after year, who got their lives back through the Teen Challenge SA Living Free program. Former participant Darren said, ‘I had always believed and known who Jesus was, but I never fully understood his love, grace and mercy until he showed his love for me. He delivered me from prison and led me to rehab at Teen Challenge SA’.

For the first time ever, Teen Challenge SA is having a Christmas Appeal and is seeking to raise $100,000 for the ministry to help more people like Darren.

You may think, ‘I can’t give a $100,000; what difference will my gift make?’ You see, your gift – coupled with other people’s gifts – will help Teen Challenge SA reach this vital goal. When you break it down, it is 100 gifts of $1,000, 200 gifts of $500, 1,000 gifts of $100 or 2,000 gifts of $50.

… And each gift is giving somebody’s life back to them!

In Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’.

This Christmas, please support the first-ever Teen Challenge SA Christmas Appeal by going to our donation page to give securely online.

Bless you.
