Sometimes you just have to choose!

In this month’s newsletter, you will read about Tavis, who experienced radical change through the Teen Challenge SA program. I am writing to you to ask if you will help Teen Challenge SA make every day count for Tavis, and many others like him, with a financial gift of $75 or more.

In Tavis’s own words

‘After years of addiction and jail, I’d had enough. It was either keep living in addiction, which leads to death, or surrender and get the help I desperately needed. I decided to apply for Teen Challenge SA and was accepted. Christ saves – and he saved me.’

When people are trapped in destructive behaviours, like Tavis, then every day that they get through is one extra day closer to full recovery.

Every day, you make hundreds of choices, and most of them are good choices. Then there are moments when temptation is right in front of you, and you have to choose. In Deuteronomy 30:19, the word says, ‘This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live’. Sometimes just one poor choice can lead someone astray. Many of the people who find themselves people in our Teen Challenge SA program made only one wrong choice.

In the same way, today you can make a simple choice to support the work of Teen Challenge SA and help someone get back onto the right path – a direction leading to new life and new hope.

To run the Teen Challenge SA program costs around $1100 per day. Your donation multiplied with other donations from the Teen Challenge SA family makes a real difference. Teen Challenge SA is a faith-based ministry that asks you to believe in the mission to support our work financially.

Many people have said it – these are trying and difficult times where resources are stretched to the limit. Many people are suffering from anxiety and stress, which will lead to increased addiction and substance abuse as people try to escape the current world circumstances caused by COVID-19.

Your financial support will help someone make good choices!
