It costs $50,000 to fund a single resident through our year-long Living Free rehabilitation program and through to the other side to full recovery.

This money goes towards food, medicine, counsellors, accommodation, utilities (electricity, gas and water), transportation, insurance, staffing and administration – just to name a few.

This works out to be $137 per day.

None of this would be possible without the help of our generous donors, and we are incredibly grateful to all who give so freely for the sake of others.

MAKE A BEQUEST IN YOUR WILL

Leaving a bequest or gift in your will to Teen Challenge SA is one of the most valuable ways you can help make a difference for future generations.

When you make or update a will it’s always advisable that you obtain independent legal advice and, if applicable, talk to your friends and family about the decisions you’ve made regarding your bequest.

Please also let us know. Your legacy helps us to continue our work for generations to come, and by making a bequest you’re also enabling us to acknowledge your generosity during your lifetime, and keep you informed of the work we’re doing.

How to make a bequest

For a specific amount of money:

‘I give to Teen Challenge South Australia (ABN: 96 660 560 818 ) free of all duties the sum of $____ for which an authorised receipt from Teen Challenge South Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor or trustee.’

For a percentage of your estate:

‘I give to Teen Challenge South Australia (ABN: 96 660 560 818 ) free of all duties ____% of my residuary estate (e.g. 1, 2, 5% etc) for which an authorised receipt from Teen Challenge South Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor or trustee.’

For the residue of your estate:

‘I give to Teen Challenge South Australia (ABN: 96 660 560 818 ) free of all duties the residue of my estate for which an authorised receipt from Teen Challenge South Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor or trustee.’
