Conditions of Entry

• I understand that participation in this event involves riding on public roads that will be used by general traffic and I am aware of the potential hazards involved in this event.


• I understand that the roads on the ride will not be closed to public.


• I am of sufficient riding skill & competence to enter the event and my motorcycle is in sound mechanical roadworthy condition.


• I am in good health and am not aware of any medical conditions that would affect me, or the safety of other riders.


• I agree to abide by the South Australian road rules and directions given by police should this be required.


• I agree to follow direction as given by event organisers.


• I acknowledge that video/film footage/still images maybe taken at the event and that these images maybe used by Teen Challenge SA Inc. and event sponsors for the use of event promotion and publicity purposes and consent to that usage.


• I agree to wear arm band identification if it is required.


• I acknowledge that disorderly or unsafe conduct will result in expulsion from the ride.


• I release and indemnify all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the event from liability, claims and costs whether in negligence or otherwise with the participation of myself or my passenger in this event.


• Participants under 18 must have parental consent to enter and agree to provide a copy of this to the event organisers.


• Participants must carry a current licence to operate a motor cycle and agree to provide a copy of this to the event organisers if requested.


• Participants must have their own insurance, either comprehensive or at the very least third party property and agree to provide a copy of this to the event organisers if required.

Release, Waiver and Indemnity Agreement

I, the participant or the participant’s parent/guardian, understand the nature of the Ride for Rehab activity and this participant’s experience. The participant is in good health and in proper physical and mental condition to participate in the Ride for Rehab social event with Teen Challenge.
I also understand that the participant may become injured during the Ride for Rehab activity.

I, for myself, the minor participant (if a minor), my heirs, next of kin, personal representatives, successors and assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue and agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless Teen Challenge SA Inc. and any of its officers, directors, independent contractors, employees, volunteers, event holders, event sponsors, event volunteers, shareholders, members, associates and partners from all liability claims, demands, losses or damages on this participant’s account from participant’s disability, personal injury, death, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind including the participants travel to and from Teen Challenge SA Inc. facilities, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by Teen Challenge SA Inc. and/or any of its officers, directors, independent contractors, employees, volunteers, event holders, event sponsors, event volunteers, shareholders, members, associates and partners or otherwise; the “Released Parties”. I further agree that if, despite this release, I, the participant or anyone on the participant’s behalf makes a claim against any of the above named released parties, I will indemnify, save and hold harmless any of the above named released parties from any litigation expenses, legal fees, loss liability, damages, or costs any may incur as a result of any such claim.

Assumption of Risk

Riding Motorcycles, by its nature, carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. Specific injuries and risks vary from this activity are obvious to me as a licenced rider. There is a potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of the participant, competitors, equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of other people, including but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, and/or producers of the event.

I have read the Assumption of Risks paragraph and know, understand and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in sporting and/or physical activities. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks of death, injury and/or property loss.

Acknowledgment of Understanding

I have read this waiver of liability, release, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be and confirm a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
